Meet Chris Smith: Not Your Common Realtor
Chris Smith is a St. Petersburg native and a seasoned real estate professional with an in-depth knowledge of the area and all it has to offer. Prior to entering real estate, Chris spent 23 years in residential construction and renovation. He has also owned and managed commercial and residential properties throughout Pinellas County. This experience allows him to help his clients identify valuable properties or give them practical information on what it will take to transform a property into their dream home. However, keeping up with the latest property trends, marketing techniques, and negotiating practices requires that he continually invest time and resources into his skill base.
When not working, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and spending time on his boat fishing, diving, or just anchored up on Egmont Key. He also holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard license and is an active Dive Master. He uses this training and experience to give back to his local community and our nation’s many servicemen and women by volunteering for a nonprofit organization called Dive Care. Dive Care teaches disabled veterans and civilians with physical or emotional disabilities how to cope underwater by becoming weightless in a water environment. Their approach is to build confidence and independence by offering a sense of freedom and adventure.
